During August the well-balanced whether allowed our grapes to ripe slowly in the shadow of vine leaves… Then the harvest time came.
After a cool and wet time until the half of June the sun is currently shining on our vineyard !
The first leaves of the vine grew around the 10th of April. Fortunatelly the spring frost didn't affect our plots.
The spring is slowly arriving in our region and the vine pruning will be finished soon.
During the first days of this new year we are happy to wish you a pleasant and sweet new year!
After the vintage our vineyard has slowly fell in the long winter sleep leaving the leaves on the soil. Only some mushrooms have grown in this sleeping nature… The pruning of the vine his currently progressing since the first days of November.
How to achieve a perfect vintage? First of all, choose a good Terroir well exposed with an adapted soil.
The vine growing season is already well advanced and the grape harvest is coming soon… Probably at the early beginning of September.
The thunder has now stopped leaving behind a beautiful weather with sunny days in the Marne Valley. The grapes are putting on weight. In our vineyards because we are growers we continue to take care of the future vintage until the harvest.
Since April, the thunder never stopped and continues to turn around the vineyard of Passy-Grigny.
"The more thunder in April, the beter the wine next vintage". The first thunder already foressees a very good vintage ! We hope our grand parents say true...
"The best pruning is always the pruning of Mars" told our grand parents. This is particulary true this year with february wich is very cold.

In Champagne, the vine leaves have not resisted to the first freezes. We have started the pruning of the vine.
After a year of patient work, the vintage 21017 is now secured in the tanks and the mosts are fermenting.
We're now approching the end of Jully and the grapes are already very well developped. The vintage is foreseen around the 5th September. August will tell us more about the exact date. The first berries will slowly become purple. This step is called the veraison.
It is a pleasure to work in our vineyard with a nice sun ! The Champagne's hillsides are now full green. The vine is growing quickly...
The spring is coming back in the Champagne region with many insects such as ladybugs, snails and birds !
